When the system is in the Operate state and a user is logged in, the screen
hierarchy for the current display appears in the navigation area of the
screen shown in
Figure

appear in the navigation area while the system is in the Operate state.
OSx allows the plant engineer to link process graphics and other associated
displays logically in screen hierarchies. This structure, or hierarchy, allows
an operator to take shortcuts when paging from screen to screen. The
operator can monitor a process more easily and respond to problems with
greater efficiency.
Each display type (graphic, real-time trend, historical trend, tag group) can
have one or more displays associated with it.
