SIMATIC PCS 7 OSx 4.1.2 Operator
When Role_Change to Primary Executes This command is only
executed when the following conditions are true.
• The selected OSx station is not in the process of resynchronizing.
• The selected OSx station is not out of sync.
• The selected OSx station is a supervisory station.
Or,
• The selected OSx station is not in the process of resynchronizing.
• The selected OSx station is not out of sync.
• The selected OSx station is an operator station, but there are no active,
non-resynchronizing supervisory stations that are in sync to choose.
Or,
The selected OSx station is not in the process of resynchronizing.
•
The selected OSx station is not in sync, but there are no active,
•
non-resynchronizing supervisory stations that are in sync to choose.
• The selected OSx station is either a supervisory or an operator station.
And,
• No other OSx station in the system is synchronizing to the primary.
• All BCL/RDT programs have gone idle during the role-change waiting
period.
All reports have finished executing during the role-change waiting
•
period.
When Role_Change to Backup Executes This command is only
executed when the following conditions are true.
No OSx station in the system is synchronizing to the primary.

The selected OSx station is not out of sync.
•
The selected OSx station is a supervisory station.
•
• The local OSx station has an active primary in its database.
