Chapter 3 Software
Description/Purpose
Enable or disable the printer port.
Displays the current settings of the
printer port.
Select IRQ and I/O resource settings
for the printer port.
Selects the mode for the parallel
port. Not available if the parallel port
is disabled.
SPP is Standard Parallel Port mode,
a bi-directional mode for printers.
EPP is Enhanced Parallel Port mode,
a high-speed bi-directional mode for
non-printer peripherals.
ECP is Enhanced Capability Port
mode, a high-speed bi-directional
mode for printers and scanners.
