Description
1.
Refer to "21.2 Accessing CONFIGURE Devices / GPRS Internet Devices"
to access CONFIGURE Devices / CONFIGURE GPRS Internet
Devices.
2.
In CONFIGURE Devices / CONFIGURE GPRS Internet Devices high-
light a device of the same type as the device to be created, from the list.
3.
NEW (F2)/EDIT (F3) to access CONFIGURE New Device/CONFIGURE
Edit Device.
Editing a device is similar to creating a new device. For simplicity, the screens are
called CONFIGURE XX Device and differences are clearly outlined.

Description
Available when creating a new device. Name of
new device.
Available when editing a device. The name of
the device.
The type of device.
Available for digital cellular phones and
modems. Defines the device as an Internet
capable device and adds it to the list in
CONFIGURE GPRS Internet Devices.
Frequency of data transfer from receiver to
device in bits per second.
Error checksum at the end of a block of digital
data.
Available when editing a device and if required
by the interface.
The terminator is a carriage return followed by a
line feed.
GPS1200
To store the new device and to return
to the screen from where this screen
was accessed.
Available for digital cellular phones
and modems. To configure commu-
nication commands.
