Testing gas failure alarm

Switch on the ventilator by pressing the main switch on the
rear of the unit until it locks into position.
Switch on IPPV/IMV (page 38).
Set lower alarm limit MV

to 15 L/min.

Remove the oxygen connection hose from the wall outlet
socket.

The red alarm lamp must blink and the alarm must sound.
Display:
Re-insert the oxygen connection hose into the wall outlet
socket.

The red alarm lamp is extinguished, the alarm message
disappears and the alarm tone is switched off.
Remove the medical air connection hose from the wall outlet
socket.

Re-insert the medical air connection hose into the wall outlet
socket.
