Overview

The TNC provides two cycles for machining point patterns directly:
Cycle
220 POLAR PATTERN
221 CARTESIAN PATTERN
You can combine Cycle 220 and Cycle 221 with the following fixed
cycles:
If you have to machine irregular point patterns,
use CYCL CALL PAT(see "Point tables", page 61) to
develop point tables.
More regular point patterns are available with the
PATTERN DEF function (see "PATTERN DEF pattern
definition", page 54).
