Chapter 10: Settings Menu.
VarioUltra Settings and related submenus contain a variety of options
that you can customize to your personal preferences. In addition to the
various methods outlined earlier in this manual on how to access
Settings, you can also enter shortcut command s+B9B7B8 to access it
from anywhere inside the Braille Notetaker.
Among other things, use Settings to:
1. Set the time and date
2. Manage Bluetooth pairings
3. Adjust power management
4. Change braille tables
5. Reset factory default settings
10.1 Settings Sub Menu Items.
Within Settings, you will find the following sub menu items:
1. Alerts
2. Braille
3. Display Settings
4. Keyboard
5. Date and Time
6. Power Management
7. IO Profiles
8. Braille Display Mode
9. Bluetooth

Note:
1. The System sub menu is new with VarioUltra version 1.33. If
you're using an older version of the software, you will not find this
item in your Settings.
2. If you're ever unsure about any menu item, use command
B9+B2B6 for Context Sensitive Help.
10.2 Settings > Alerts Menu.
The Alerts menu lets you select your preference for audible tones versus
vibration for times when VarioUltra needs to communicate that
something has happened, or is happening. For example, when a
Bluetooth device connects to VarioUltra. An option to adjust the volume
of audible tones is also available. Note that these are global in nature.
