14.3 VarioUltra Commands

This section contains a summary of default VarioUltra commands. The
action is listed first, followed by the command that must be entered on
VarioUltra. Note that if you use Key Mapping to change the function of
thumb keys or assignment of display buttons D2 and D5, your command
structure will vary from what is written below.
o Toggles between Sleep Mode (off) and Active Mode (on): Power
button tap.
o Reboot VarioUltra: Hold Power button for 15 to 20 seconds.
o Switch off VarioUltra: Press and hold S4, press and release power
button.
o Braille Notetaker mode: Slide Display Mode switch away from you,
toward back of device.
o Braille Display mode: Slide Display Mode toward you/front of
device.
o Go to Main Menu: Long press of S3.
o Switch to Computer Braille: B9+D1.
o Switch to Contracted Braille: B9+D2.
o Display Battery status in Braille Notetaker mode: Two taps of S3.
o Display Battery status in Braille Display mode: S2+B9.
o Stop all applications: B2B5D1D4.
o Initiate Update: B7B8D3D6.
o Help: h+B7B8B9.
o Context sensitive help: B2B6B9.
o Select USB channel: Press and hold S2, tap B1.
o Select Bluetooth channel 1: Press and hold S2, tap B4.
o Select Bluetooth channel 2: Press and hold S2, tap B5.
o Select Bluetooth channel 3: Press and hold S2, tap B6.
o Select Bluetooth channel 4: Press and hold S2, tap B8.
o Select an option, file, or menu item: Cursor Routing Button, or tap
B9.
o Move through horizontal list of options: Navistick left or right.
