The System Menu contains the following options:
1. Update
2. Disk Cleanup
3. Reset Device
10.11.1 System > Update.
As explained earlier in this manual, updating of VarioUltra software was
done by copying the file to a USB stick, connecting it to VarioUltra, and
then entering an update command.
Newer versions of VarioUltra software can be achieved by copying the
update file to VarioUltra's flash storage ('Flashdisk'), and then entering
the update command.
As an alternative to entering the command, version 1.33 software and
newer allow you to initiate the update through the Sytem > Update
menu.
Remember:
It is always necessary to connect VarioUltra to power when updating. If
your device is not connected to power, the update process will not start.
If more than one update file is found, you will see a file name and then a
number range. Tap B9 or press in on the Navistick to start the update
process.
10.11.2 System > Disk Cleanup.
VarioUltra includes 32 GB of flash storage, which is generally enough for
all users. If you ever find yourself running out of space, you can make
room by removing some less necessary items, such as:
1. OS backups
2. Temporary files
3. Bookmarks and cursor positions
Check any or all checkbox options you find, and then navigate down to
the "Cleanup Now" button. Tap B9 or press in on Navistick to start the
process of erasing these things.
10.11.3 System > Reset Device.
If you ever change settings to the point that you do not remember how to
return to factory settings, or perhaps you're using a borrowed unit and
