5. A dialog will open and you will find yourself in an edit box where
the new folder name can be entered. Note that a suggested name
"Newfolder" will be present.
6. You can either accept this suggested name, or overwrite with your
preferred name.
** New ** with v1.4: please use Computer Braille (B9 + D1) here to
avoid using any forbidden characters.
Confirm with "OK" to accept and exit back to the file list. Your new folder
has been created and should be visible to you in the file list.
You can reach the New Folder dialog in future with the shortcut n+B8B9.
The dialog also contains the last used save location; you can also
change the path if you wish.

9.4 Open a File or Folder.

The Open command is used to open files and folders. When a folder is
opened, the files and sub-folders will be displayed in a list. When a file is
opened the user is transferred to the appropriate application:
1. DOC, DOCX, TXT, BRF, BRL, RTF, PPT, PPTX, PPS, PPSX files
open the Word Processor
2. XLS and XLSX files open the Excel Viewer
3. PDF files open the PDF Viewer
Here are the step-by-step instructions to open a file or folder:
1. From within the file list, scroll up or down to the file or folder you
wish to open.
2. Once you are on the file or folder you wish to open, enter the
command menu with S3, and then select File > Open.
3. If you are opening a folder, the folder opens to show the content in
a file list.
4. If you are opening a file, the file will open inside the appropriate
application.
You can use the shortcut o+B8B9 in future to open the selected file or
folder.

9.5 Opening Files from Within the Word Processor Application

By default, the Word Processor app only displays text-based documents
such as RTF and DOC/DOCX files.
