D2).
The controls found within the IO Profiles dialog include:
1. List Profiles: this shows the numbers and names of the individual
profiles. You can load, delete, edit, or rename the selected profile.
2. ** New ** with v1.4: Save Current Settings. With this option, you
save the enabled settings you have selected or changed in menu
Settings > Braille > Default Braille Codes, Settings > Braille >
Braille Tables, and in word processor command menu Tools >
Grade 2 > Settings.
3. Rename: this option opens a dialog with options where you can
alter the profile settings, and is only visible with one or more
profiles exist.
4. Delete: this option deletes the selected profile, and is only visible
when one or more profiles exist.
5. Use Selected Profile: this option loads the settings which are
defined within the selected profile. It is only visible when one or
more profiles exist.
6. Cancel: closes the dialog.
10.8.1 IO Profiles > Loading a Profile.
If no profiles have been created, the horizontal list in blank and only
presents the number 1 to 8 of potential profiles.
** New ** with v1.4: If profiles exist, their names and assigned profile
number are shown in the list. Use the Navistick to move through the list
and select the profile you wish to use.
If you know the number of the desired profile, use the shortcut command
S1+B1 through B8 for the corresponding profile. For example, to load
profile #2, you would press S1+B2 simultaneously. A message will
confirm that the profile has been loaded.
10.8.2 IO Profiles > Create and Save a New Profile.
** New ** with v1.4: think of the braille settings that you wish to save as
a profile, and then set the desired options.
1. Menu Settings > Braille > Default Braille Codes, i.e. "UEB grade 1"
for reading and writing mode and Master Switch unchecked.
