2. Menu Settings > Braille > Standard Braille Tables: Select the
desired Braille Table which you want to use when Master Switch
Computer Braille is enabled. i.e. TBFR2007 for French will allow to
toggle between UEB grade 1 and French Computer Braille with the
Master Switch option.
3. Word Processor, menu Tools > Grade 2 > Settings: i.e. again UEB
grade 1 and check the options for typing and reading.
4. Open Menu Settings > IO Profiles.
a. In the horizontal Profile list move to a free profile number,
means that has no assigned profile name. In case you select
an existing profile the settings of this old profile are
overwritten by the new settings.
b. Go down and confirm "Save Current Settings"
c. A dialog opens and a edit box presents the predefined profile
name "new profile". Overwrite or alter this name to your
need, i.e. "UEB with French" and confirm OK.
d. Now the new profile appears in the profile list and the
number in front indicates the assigned profile number.
e. Close the dialog with CANCEL.
10.8.3 IO Profiles > Use Selected Profile.
** New ** with v1.4: Confirm this button to load the selected profile. You
can load profiles via keyboard shortcuts, which are S1 + B1 through B8,
depending upon the profile number.
10.9 Braille Display Mode Menu.
To use VarioUltra in Braille Display Mode you must slide the Device
Mode switch toward you.
Settings relating to the use of VarioUltra as a braille display can be
found in menu item Settings > Braille Display Mode, which you access in
Braille Notetaker mode.
The menu contains options relating to connecting with devices. Options
include:
1. Device Emulation
2. ** New ** with v1.4: Enable Bluetooth Automatically
3. Vibrate on Device Connected
4. Show Message if Device Connected
5. ** New ** with v1.4: Key Simulation Properties
