10.5.5 Keyboard > Key Mapping
A factory default in VarioUltra is that display buttons D2 and D5 are used
to pan the braille display left and right. For those braille readers who are,
for example, predominantly right-hand braille readers, their preference
might be to switch the function of D2 and D5. When reversed, D2 is
used to pan forward, and D5 is used to pan backwards. This is achieved
using Key Mapping.
1. With Key Mapping, you can select different predefined settings,
such as a setting for swapping the general function of display keys
D2 and D5.
2. The "standard" entry is factory default.
3. Use the Navistick to move left and right and select an item. Note
that each item label starts with the letters L I, which stands for 'list
item'.
4. Use shortcut B9+B1B2B3B7 to move to beginning of list.
5. Use shortcut B9+B4B5B6B8 to move to end of list.
6. Moving from left to right, the choices are:
a. Standard, 1/6.
b. D2 and D5 Exchanged if Pressed Alone, 2/6.
c. D Keys Swapped Left Right, 3/6.
d. D2 and D5 Exchanged, L and R Swapped, 4/6.
e. L and R Swapped, 5/6.
f. Both L and R Activate Right, 6/6.
