PowerPoint, will be displayed using Computer Braille. Uncheck the
box and you can specify other braille tables to use.
b) Contract File. You receive an uncontracted braille document
that you wish to convert into US English Contracted braille. Use
this option to do just that, and the save the document as
something else. Long files may take some time to complete.
c) Decontract File. The reverse of Contract, is to Decontract. Simply
put, if you have a document presented in US English Contracted
Braille or UEB, and you'd like to convert to uncontracted braille,
use this feature. Long files may take some time to complete.
3) Braille Document Settings
a) Strip Formatting When Opening a BRF File. Decide whether
VarioUltra maintains VRF file information such as characters per
line, lines per page, etc., or if the text should be presented without
this formatting.
b) Add Formatting When Saving a BRF File. Decide when saving a
BRF file whether line breaks and form feeds are entered
automatically, based on your values for characters per line, and
lines per page.
c) Braille Converter. Choose the desired braille table to be used for
braille conversion. Use the Navistick to move left or right through
the list of available braille tables.
d) Allow 8-Dots for Input (Support for BRU files only). This option
requires that your braille document type is set to BRU instead of
BRF. BRF formatted files do not support the entry of 8-dot braille.
4) Position in Text. When selected, provides information about the
cursor position in the document in both absolute and percentage
terms. Scroll down a line with Navistick to enter a new cursor position
and move to that location. You can specify a column, line and page
within a document.
5) Input Mode. In Overwrite Mode, text entry occurs at the cursor
position. In Append Mode, text entry occurs at the end of the
document, no matter where the cursor happens to be in the
document.

4.7 Exit Word Processor.

To exit the Word Processor and return to the main menu, press and hold
system key S3.
