Configure Mode
ip EZ2route router Command
Use the ip EZ2route router command to add a router to the list of routers
recognized by the EZ2route application. The no form of this command removes a
router from the list.
The EZ2route application automatically learns routers that communicate using
routing protocols. Routers that have only static configuration need to be configured
manually.
Only the IP address is mandatory to configure a router. In most cases the MAC
address and VLAN of this router will be learned shortly from ARP requests.
However, in case it is required to speed up the learning process, the MAC address
and VLAN of the router can also be configured.
Note that changes in the MAC address of a statically configured router is learned
dynamically so that redundancy protocols can be used safely.
The syntax for this command is:
[no] ip EZ2route router <IP addr> [<Mac addr> <Vlan>]
<IP addr>
<Mac addr>
<Vlan>
