    Chapter 3: Mount the Device You can mount the P333R-LB in a rack. The P333R-LB chassis fits in most standard 19-inch racks. It is 2U (3.5”, 88 mm) high. Before you Install the P333R-LB in a Rack Disconnect all cables from the unit before proceeding with the rack installation.

    This section describes the procedure for establishing switch access between a terminal and the Avaya P333R-LB switch over the serial port provided on the front panel of the P333R-LB (RJ-45 connector labeled “Console”).     Configuring the Switch Configuring the Switch This section describes the procedures for the first-time configuration of the Avaya P333R-LB. The factory defaults are set out in detail in the tables included in this chapter. You may configure the Avaya P333R-LB using the text-based Command Line Interface (CLI), the built-in Device Manager or Avaya Integrated Management.
