SNMP stands for "Simple Network Management Protocol" and is used by Network
Management Systems (NMS). Ascotel® supports the version SNMP V1.
If the Network Management System is to know the potential events of the PBX, the
corresponding system components have to be defined in the form of configurable
objects (Managed Objects: MO). These objects and the related event messages are
stored in an object library referred to as the Management Information Base (MIB).
The current MIB version can be downloaded from https://pbxweb.aastra.com. The
user name and password are required in order to access the data. Registration with
the "Aastra Application Parter Programm" is required.
