5.
After the card is completely clear of the terminal, remove your other
hand from the equipment.
To replace a card in the card cage, proceed as follows:
1.
Hold the card in one hand.
2.
Place your other hand on the CRT face and the mounting band or the ter-
minal chassis.
3.
Insert the card partially into the correct slot.
4.
Plug in the connector(s).
5.
Push the card in until it is properly seated.
NOTE:
The DIP plug is numbered on the lid.
Make sure
it is oriented the same way as the socket into
which it is being inserted.
6.
After the card is seated and the connector(s) plugged in, remove the
hand holding the CRT face or the terminal chassis.
Keyboard Removal and Replacement. Removal of the keyboard from the terminal
is done this way:
1.
Remove the top section of the cabinet as described earlier.

From underneath, remove the four keyboard mounting screws shown in
Figure
6-4~
NOTE:
Do not remove the angle brackets attached to the
keyboard.
3.
Undo the cable clamps.
4.
Remove the two connectors on the left-hand side of the machine and un-
plug the ribbon cable from the Refresh Buffer Card in slot #3.
