2.6 Installing the batteries

Remove the battery cover from the remote control and put 2x AAA size batteries inside the
compartment.
The diagram inside the battery compartment shows the correct way to install the batteries.
1. Open the cover
2. Install batteries
3. Close the cover
Switches the receiver On/Standby
Mutes audio output of the receiver in every mode incl. videotext
Opens the favourite list selection
Show the currently selected channel list.
Opens the list of audio languages
Opens recent list with previously watched channels
In menu for specific functions.

Shows the actual channel information
Shows the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide)
Menu Off: Change channel to next/previous. Menu On: Moves the
cursor up/down.
Menu Off: Decreases/increases the volume level. Menu On: Change
settings and navigation in menu.
Menu Off: Displays the current channel list. Menu On: Opens the
highlighted setting or for confirmation
Opens the main menu and step back in main menu
Exits from the menu, sub-menu or cancels actions
Increases/decreases the volume in all modes
Scroll page wise in all lists
Channel up/down
Channel selection or value input
Toggles between TV and RADIO mode
No function
To freeze TV screen in viewing mode if Timeshift is off or in
multimedia and HDD manager to pause playback of a file
Fast rewind/Fast forward
Starts recording of the current broadcast
Opens the Timeshift banner in viewing mode if this function is
activated in the recording menu. In Multimedia and HDD Manager
it starts playback of the selected file.
During playback mode jumps to the previous / next file
Stops the current recording, Timeshift or playback of the selected
file
Opens quick menu settings for TV ratio and resolution
Opens the teletext if available
Shows the list of subtitle languages if available
Gives direct access to mails from your service provider
