In case of difficulties or questions, please ask your local dealer for assistance. It is recommended to follow the First Time Installation step by step. It will guide you through the basic installation and channel searching process.

    5.0QUickGUiDeToUsinGYoURReceiveR We at THOMSON understand that you can’t wait to enjoy your new HD receiver. The following quick guide will make you familiar with the basic operation of this device. We do, however, advice you to read the full manual to get the best performance from your THOMSON HD receiver.

    The volume can be adjusted with the v+/v- buttons. This is also possible in ALL menus which present TV picture in background. In viewing mode you can also use the buttons. Additionally you can ! your receiver in ALL menus which present TV picture in background. The PG+/PG- enable you to scroll page wise in all list modes to make your channel or other selection as comfortable as possible.

    6.3selectionofaudiolanguage Some channels support a choice of different audio formats and/or languages. To select another audio stream, press AUDio in the viewing mode. A list with the available audio languages will be displayed. Use to select the desired audio language and confirm with ok. It is also possible to select another audio mode with the buttons.

    7.1installation This menu allows you to change satellite settings and to search for channels. Further you can adjust important settings for your receiver. It consists of the following sub-menus: Antenna Setup, Channel Search, System Settings, Parental Lock and Factory Reset. Choose the desired sub menu with and press ok to advance.

    7.2.5oTAsoftwareUpdate The OTA (Over the Air) function allows you to search for software updates available on ASTRA 23.5 satellite.     7.4channelManager Within this menu you can manage channels and configure favourites, define an auto channel update or from a connected USB storage device. The menu consists of the following sub- menus: TV Channels, Radio Channels, Auto Channel Update and TV Programme Guide. Choose the desired sub menu with and press ok to advance.

    7.4.3AutochannelUpdate In this menu you can perform an automatic channel update on Astra 23.5 satellite. You can setup a mode and desired time for this. It will enable you to update the complete channel database of your receiver or save you the time for a full channel scan. to select ON as the default setting is OFF.
