Rack Considerations

HN4000 switches can be mounted in the following rack types with the appropriate mounting 
hardware:
19 inch ANSI rack (mounting hardware provided)
23 inch ANSI rack (mounting hardware provided)
600mm ETSI rack (535 mm maximum panel width) (mounting hardware available in 
RMK‐02 kit)

Cabling and Wiring Requirements

Table 1‐5 lists the cables used with the HN4000 equipment. Where a part number is provided, 
the cable can be ordered from Hatteras Networks. The intra‐building warning on page
applies to the ports marked with two asterisks (**).
