Possible cause
The paper installed is not
correct
Out of Toner
ADF cover is open
A hardware related error
occurred.
The document is not
transmitted to the other
party even through
repeated auto redial.
An error has occurred and
communication was
unsuccessful.
There is no destination
information registered in
the One Touch key or
Speed Dial you have just
pressed.
The date or time has been
set incorrectly.
The number of pages of
the document transmitted
does not equal the number
of pages set with Page
Count TX. í P 2-24
The specified ID number
is not set.

What to do
§ Be sure you have installed
the correct paper size, then
press any key to release the
ERROR state, and then
press Start key to resume
this machine. After
warming up, this machine
would print the last copy
again.
§ Or, change the paper size
setting.í P 5-10
§ Replace new Toner.
§ Close the ADF cover.
§ Try turning the power OFF
then ON.
§ If this error is displayed
again, contact your service
agent.
§ Press the Stop key, then try
another transmission
sequence.
§ At transmission
Press the Stop key, and
then the Yes key. Then try
another transmission
sequence.
§ At reception
Ask the other party to try
another transmission.
§ Select the One Touch key
or Speed Dial, which
contains the information of
the destination you are
trying to send.
§ Or register a new One
Touch Dial or Speed Dial .
