Basic FAX Operations
3. Using the dial keys on the telephone unit or the Numeric keys on the FAX, enter
the telephone number of the receiving party.
4. The telephone unit now operates as a normal
telephone.
Once the voice call is completed, return the
telephone handset as usual.

Receiving a Telephone Call

1. When the telephone rings, indicating that a
call is coming in, lift the telephone. Start
talking the phone to the calling party.
NOTE:
When you pick up the telephone with the machine in the Tel mode
and find that the call received is a fax communication press the
Start key as described on the previous page.
2. Once a voice call has been completed, hang
up the telephone.

Settings of TX Operation

Setting SCAN CONTRAST

There are five contrast levels that you can select depending on your original
document. For documents with very fine or light characters, choose a lighter level.
1. Press the Utility key 4 times then the display
appears the message "TX OPERATION".
2. Press "1" from the Numeric keys. The following
message appears briefly to confirm your
selection.
