Battery insertion and replacement
Unscrew the 4 screws of the top of the receiver using a cross-head
■
screwdriver and remove the lid. Insert the 3V lithium CR2 battery into
the battery compartment. Please check that the battery is installed
with correct polarity (according to the polarity marks inside the battery
compartment - see the picture). Wrong polarity may damage the unit.
Approximately after a second, the receiver will beep if the battery is
■
inserted correctly. Before putting the lid of the
receiver back in place, make sure that the rubber
seal is correctly seated in its groove. Lubricating
the seal with a thin layer of silicone grease will
increase it's lifespan.
Screw down the 4 screws of the top tightly (do
■
not over tighten them).
