Reaction of F-Modules to Module Failure
The following events occur following a serious internal fault in the F-module causing
F-module failure:
• The connection to the backplane bus is interrupted, and the fail-safe inputs and outputs
• Diagnostics are not transmitted from the F-module, and the "Module Fault" standard
• The SF LED of the corresponding module illuminates.
