4.6.3 MISSING GLUCOSE READINGS – "
CALIBRATION UPDATE/RECALIBRATION
When you take and upload a BG fingerstick for calibration (Section 4.5), the Seven
System checks how well it is functioning compared to the BG meter. The calibration
update process takes about 10-15 minutes. During each calibration update attempt,
the Seven System may determine that another BG reading is needed. The Calibration
Update Screen will appear again (shown below) and the Receiver will vibrate.
Clear this Screen by pressing any button. The display will return to the 1-hour Trend
Screen. You will see a blood drop symbol in the Status Box instead of a glucose
reading.
The blood drop symbol indicates that the Seven System requires at least one more
BG fingerstick reading to start displaying glucose readings and providing Alerts/
ALARMs again.
