2.1 SEVEN TRANSMITTER AND SEVEN RECEIVER COMMUNICATION

Keep your Receiver within 5 feet (1.5 m) of your Sensor/Transmitter for best
communication. To check that your Receiver and Transmitter are communicating
("talking"), press any Receiver button to see the 1-hour Glucose Trend Screen:
If you can see the Antenna Symbol (Y) at the bottom right hand corner, then your
Transmitter and Receiver are communicating. If the Antenna appears in the Status Box
review the following:
Is the Receiver within 5 feet (1.5 m) of your Sensor Pod/Transmitter? If the Receiver
is not close enough, move it within that range and re-check the Status Box in 5-10
minutes to see if the Antenna Symbol disappears from the Status Box and re-appears
in the lower right corner of the Receiver display.
If the two devices are still not communicating check that the correct Transmitter
Serial Number (SN#) is programmed into your Receiver (See Section 7.3).
If the correct SN# has been entered into your Receiver and the two devices are still
not communicating contact DexCom™ Technical Support for further assistance
1-877-DEXCOM4 (339-2664).
The Antenna Symbol
should appear here.
