You can decide whether operating mode or VCR unit
selection should be made with the corresponding
controls on the front of the multiplexer (MODE and
VCR switches) or controlled remotely via the REMOTE
IN/OUT socket.
Note
The remaining control buttons can be re-
mote-controlled and operated directly in
parallel at all times.
Possible settings:
YES The functions of the MODE and VCR switches
are controlled remotely. Operation of the
switches on the front of the unit has no effect
on the system.
NO
The MODE and VCR switches can be operated
normally.

REMOTE CONTROL REC PATTERN
(only in multiplexer mode)
You can decide how the desired recording format (see
page 42) should be selected and/or changed. Re-
ON
mote-controlled operation of the recording mode
allows you to change from one pattern to another
using automatic devices (e.g. at weekends).
