OPTION menu

You can enter the various user-specific settings de-
scribed below.

10-SEGMENT CAMERA SELECTION
(only in multiviewer mode)
The multiplexer supports a special 10-segment split-
screen feature, with the display divided into two large
segments and eight smaller ones. The camera images
in these two segments are updated more often than
their smaller counterparts, making them virtually real-
time displays.
Within the 10-segment format, you can decide which
camera images are to be displayed in the two larger
segments. However, the screen layout (eight small
segments at the top, two large segments at the bot-
tom) cannot be altered.

SEQUENCE DWELL TIME
You can adjust the dwell time for automatic image
sequencing separately for each of the two monitor
outputs. As soon as this dwell period expires, the
multiplexer switches over to the next camera image in
the sequence.

INITIAL (CAMERA) (only in multiviewer mode)

This feature lets you decide which image is to be
activated when the multiplexer is switched on. The
selection becomes effective whenever the multiplexer
is switched on or off.
The selection can be made separately for live images
(INITIAL CAMERA) and video recordings (INITIAL
VCR).

the multiplexer should use. The available patterns are
set up using the REC PTN menu (see page 39).
