Installation
Remote operation
The purpose of the REMOTE IN/OUT socket is to
provide a connection for a separate operating panel
for remote control of the multiplexer. All the button and
switch functions on the front of the unit can be oper-
ated by remote control, and acknowledgement mes-
sages regarding current system status (e.g. camera
selection or screen-splitting) can be transferred to a
screen display or control panel.
Pin assignment
The contacts are configured as open-collector outputs
with a capacity of up to 20 V, 20 mA. The inputs are
specified as follows: 5 V, 5 mA, delay of approx. 100
ms.
Connection is carried out using the 25-pin sub-D plug
kit supplied with the unit.

The switching outputs for the connected
devices operate at:
Operating voltage: less than 20 V
Power consumption: less than 20 mA.
