Lock Settings

The lock settings feature allows all the user settings of the machine to be programmed and then
subsequently blocked to avoid accidental modification. Once the password is entered (Which is the
same as the password for the ARES-C machine and is available only from your local Nagra dealer, or
by sending an e-mail to audio_pro@nagraaudio.com,) all the Icons and settings menus will
disappear. There is the optional choice to allow the reformat command to remain active by checking
the appropriate box.
Unlocking the settings is done in the reverse manner using the same password.
About
Shows the serial number, which is burned into the memory of the recorder, hardware and software versions
installed in the unit, as well as the different options that are installed. Pressing the DEFAULT settings button
will reset all parameters of the Nagra Seven back to their original factory default setting and will also erase any
templates stored in the recorder.

The default settings are the standard settings that are factory defined and
will be restored when this key is pressed. Activating this function will erase
all templates and any other user programmable parameters of the Nagra
, and will return all parameters to their pre-determined selection.
