WiFi / 3G

The Nagra Seven can be equipped with an internal WiFi /3G (GSM) communication option which is inserted into
the second slot under the lower panel of the recorder. The features offers the possibility to either FTP files or
use VoIP via the on-board WiFi if a network is available or alternatively to use the standard GSM network in 3G
mode.
Note: A SIM card needs to be obtained from a local provider and installed into the slot provided on the board
for the GSM / 3G option to operate.
Inserting the SIM card.
Remove the detachable battery pack from the recorder. Place the recorder upside down on a clean, non-
abrasive surface. Remove the Six "Torx T8" screws holding the bottom cover of the machine in place. The SIM
card is located on the WIFi / 3G option board as shown below, and is inserted in the same way as for a mobile
phone.
The SIM card is a standard size, but micro SIM cards can be used if the appropriate adapter is available.
Once correctly inserted, re-fit the lower cover of the recorder and re-attach the battery pack.
