Automatic answer

When this function is selected, the Nagra will wait for an incoming I.S.D.N. call. In this mode the machine will
answer, as soon as an incoming call arrives, and after 4 seconds, it will immediately playback the previously
selected audio file. If multiple files have been selected in a play list, then the first file playback will start
automatically and the other files will follow in the order they were selected with a short break between each.
Once the transmission of the file(s) is complete it will hang-up, and remain in the Auto Answer mode ready to
reply to the next incoming call. If no file has been selected, the Nagra will answer and remain on line until the
communication is ended.

On-Line screen

When a call connection is made, either by dialing a number or by answering an incoming call the Nagra will be
in the On-Line status. The RX level indicates the signal level of the caller and the TX level indicates the level of
the transmit signal which can be either the microphone input or the playback signal of a previously recorded
file. The dialed (or connected) number is also clearly displayed.
In the example below, the file to be played back or transmitted is index number 15 and has a duration of 22
seconds. Playback has not yet been activated and the TX level shows that of the microphone.
