Part 6 – TRANSMISSION
Transmission MENU
The transmission menu screen is opened using the "world" icon from the shortcuts screen,
and gives access to the different communication possibilities. The interface selection
depends on the hardware options installed in the machine (ISDN, WIFI/3G etc). The
CONTACTS button gives access to the internally stored "Phone book" or contacts list, which is
common to all communication methods.
Chapter IV
INTERFACE
Allows the operator to select the internal interface to be used for
the transmission. All machines are equipped with the ETHERNET
port and can send files by FTP (File Transfer Protocol). The use of
I.S.D.N. and WiFi requires the relevant hardware options to be
installed. The final possibility is "Line output" which should be
used if an external codec is being used. All the features (Mixing
microphone signals with played back files etc.) are all possible in
stereo in this mode.
MODE:
Allows different transmission modes to be selected and the
choices vary according to the interface chosen (FTP, VOIP, Speech,
data.....)
CONTACTS
Opens the internal phone book where contact information can be
stored for quick access. The contacts feature is common to all
communication methods of the NAGRA.
