I.S.D.N. OPERATION
Communication using I.S.D.N. can involve various different operations such as making a call, receiving an
incoming call, mixing live audio with a previously recorded file, recording a communication etc. so to simplify
matters, the various different screens and their operations are explained on the following pages which should
cover all areas.
On the transmission screen the communication interface to be used can be selected. This can be I.S.D.N., Local
area network (LAN) via the on-board Ethernet connection, WIFI or GSM phone (if the option is installed). The
transmission mode options vary according to the interface selected.
When settings is pressed for the I.S.D.N. selection, the following screen gives access to the different
transmission modes, of G711-A (A-law), G711-µ (µ-Law) speech modes, G-722 data mode depending on the
selection made on the previous screen. If a data transmission is selected then the synchronization protocol of
S.R.T. (Synchronization Relation Tree) can be selected, which is the most common protocol.
