Firmware updates

New firmware versions for the NAGRA Seven will be posted on our web site
www.nagraaudio.com
from time to
time when new features or important updates are available. Installing these updates is a very simple and
automated procedure.
Updating the firmware of the recorder will NOT affect any recordings on either the internal or external
memories. Internal settings of the machine will not be lost either unless specifically stated on the software
bulletin.
Firstly, copy the file named Nseven_0100_xxx.nbu from our web site to the root directory of an SD card. This
can be done while the Nagra Seven is connected to the PC with a USB cable, simply save the file directly to the
EXTERNAL SD card of the machine (Do not save it to the internal micro SD card).
Once this is completed, put the SD card into the slot and switch on the machine and follow the on-screen
instructions, or in the latter case simply disconnect the USB cable from the machine. The upgrade is fully
automatic.
If the upgrade file is left on the SD card the machine will perform the operation each time the machine is
switched on, so once completed it is recommended to remove the ".nbu" file from the SD card
