Part 4 – THE TEMPLATES
It is important to understand that a template is a set of predefined settings that can be rapidly
stored or recalled by the user to set the recorder to a pre-defined operating mode. They are NOT
"Profiles". It is perfectly possible to recall a pre-stored template and then subsequently change any
specific setting in the machine.
Templates Menu Screen
Six internal templates are available for the storage of different machine parameter settings for rapid
access. All settings that affect the recording are stored. Settings that correspond to the recorder (icon
selection, meter programming etc.) are not saved in the templates. Each template can be given a
name up to 16 characters for easy identification.
Retrieve a previously saved template and set the recorder accordingly.
Recall:
Store:
Save the current settings of the recorder to a selected template.
Rename:
Replace the existing template name with a new one.
Erase:
Erase the highlighted template.

Auto-copy mode / destination / tracks
Auto-skip mode setting
Auto-record on TC selection

Clock reference
Channel 1+2 source selection

File format / maximum file size
File name format
FTP settings
Headphone potentiometer assignment
ICON display selections
ISDN TX / RX data compression settings
ISDN Sync protocol settings
