D Update LQA (Link Quality Analysis) call
The Update LQA call is used to measure the signal
quality between the transceiver and other stations.
• Sending an Individual Update LQA call
q Hold down [
] for 1 second to enter the Network
selection screen.
w Push [r] or [s] to select the desired Network, and
then push [
].
• The Networks that belong to the ALE system must be
selected.

• "Individual," "NET Call," "Individual AMD," "NET AMD,"
"Sounding" "Individual Update LQA," "NET Update LQA,"
"Unlink Individual AMD," and "Unlink NET AMD" are select-
able.

• Only the IDs that belong to the Network selected in step
w, are displayed.

• If <Auto> is selected, the transceiver sequentially trans-
mits on channels that belong to the Network in the LQA
order.

o When the response is received, the caller transceiv-
er automatically transmits the Acknowledgement.
• If the response signal includes the LQA request, the
transceiver measures and transmits the received signal
quality.
• The call is saved in the Call Out memory.
