Battery
WARNING
Never charge a battery while installed in the
vehicle.
Removal
Disconnect BLACK (-) cable first then RED
(+) cable.
WARNING
Always respect this order for disassembly;
disconnect BLACK (-) cable first.
Remove the holding strap then pull the bat-
tery out of frame.

Cleaning
Clean battery, battery casing and battery
posts using a solution of baking soda and wa-
ter.
Remove corrosion from battery cable termi-
nals and battery posts using a firm wire brush.
Battery casing should be cleaned by soft
brush and baking soda solution.
Installation
Reinstall battery in vehicle.
Connect RED (+) cable first then BLACK (-)
cable. Always connect RED (+) cable first.
NOTE: Place the BLACK (-) cable between
holding strap and battery.
