Wipe off gear oil well immediately if spilled
and dispose of it in accordance with local
fire prevention and environment protection
regulations.

If water in the oil, giving it a milky colored
appearance. Contact your dealer.

Use genuine gear oil or the recommended
one (API GL-5: SAE #80 to #90).

Propeller replacement

Do not begin propeller removal and
installation procedure with spark plug
c a p s a t t a c h e d , s h i f t i n f o r w a rd o r
reverse, main switch at other than
"OFF", engine stop switch lock attached
to the switch, and starter key attached,

or engine could accidentally start lead-
ing to serious personal injury. Discon-
nect battery cable if possible.
The propeller edge is thin and sharp.
Wear the groves during replacement to
protect your hands.

Do not install propeller without thrust
holder, or propeller boss could be dam-
aged.
Do not reuse split pin.
CAUTION
WARNING
CAUTION
After installing split pin, spread the pin
apart to prevent it from falling out which
could lead to the propeller coming off
during operation.
A worn-out or bent propeller will lower the
motor's performance, and cause engine
trouble.
1. Put a piece of wood block between
propeller blade and anti-ventilation
plate to hold propeller.
2. Remove the split pin, propeller nut and
washer.
3. Remove the propeller and thrust
holder.
4. Apply water proof grease to the pro-
peller shaft before installing a new pro-
peller.
5. Install the thrust holder, propeller,
stopper, washer and propeller nut onto
the shaft.
