OkiNet for VINES Communication
Options
OkiNet for VINES options can be configured by
selecting Startup from the Options pull-down menu.
The following options are available:
Hop count
Number of hops OkiNet for VINES will broadcast
searching for OkiLAN 6100e+ products. (0-15, Default
= 5 hops)
Broadcast to
The cost OkiNet for VINES will use when broadcasting
for OkiLAN 6100e+ products. (Default = Broadcast to
all nodes on high speed media)
Timeout
The time in seconds OkiNet for VINES waits for
responses when searching for OKI print servers. (Max
40 seconds, Default = 4 seconds)
Broadcast
Number of broadcasts OkiNet for VINES will use to
find the OkiLAN 6100e+. (Default = 2) Selecting the
Smart Broadcast feature will cause repeated
broadcasting until no new cards are found up to a
maximum of 10 tries.
List Name
The manner in which OkiNet for VINES will display
StreetTalk names in the main selection list. The list can
be displayed wither by Print Services or by the User
Login Name of the OkiLAN 6100e+.
