Overview of the Install Tool Menus

The Install Tool backpanel display provides four menus. Each is described below.

File Menu

The File menu offers the following options:
Option:
Connect
Exit

Wizard Menu

The Wizard menu lists all the wizards that are available for your specific
Passport 4400 configuration. Refer to
description of each wizard.

System Menu

The System menu offers the following options:
Option:
Web Configurator
Configure
System Status
Test
Telnet
Ping
Use this menu option to:
make a connection to a different Passport 4400.
close all Install Tool windows and exit the program.

Use this menu option to:
launch the Passport 4400 Configurator interface. (Note that the Web
Configurator requires either Netscape Communicator 4.7 or higher,
or Internet Explorer 4.1 or higher. In addition, your browser must be
set to accept all cookies.)
configure system-level parameters and system-level IP parameters
for the Passport 4400 to which you are presently connected.
display the status of the Passport 4400 to which you are presently
connected.
run system-level diagnostic tests and display the results in the
Diagnostics panel.
launch a Telnet session to access the Command Line Interface
(CLI).
ping an IP host in your network.
