When to Use It
There are no restrictions on the use of standard mode. For example, you may
decide to use standard mode after you have established a basic configuration using
wizard mode. Or, you may prefer to use it exclusively, and not use wizard mode at
all.

Demo Mode

Description
Demo mode allows you to engage in a simulated configuration session. The
operation is identical to an actual Install Tool session, but it makes no changes to
the Passport 4400 (in the event that you have established a connection between
your workstation and a Passport 4400). Demo mode does not require a connection
from your workstation to a Passport 4400.
When to Use It
Demo mode is designed as to help you evaluate and learn the product. Since it
performs no operations on the Passport 4400, it is ideal for learning and
experimenting.
How to Use It
You can start Demo mode from the Install Tool folder on the desktop (or from the
Wizards menu). When you start the demo, the Install Tool Startup Definition
screen opens with the text string "demo" in the IP Address field. Click on
IP Connect to start the demo.
