2. Note the location of the forward ("FORE") reference on the base of the
FB250 antenna. Knowing the location of this reference point is very
important throughout the assembly process. You may want to apply a
temporary label to the FB250 radome to better mark the reference.
3. Attach the mounting bracket to the base of the FB250 antenna as
described in the instructions provided with the mast-mount kit.
Important
Be sure to ground the antenna to the ship's hull using the
supplied grounding strap. The 19" (48 cm) dome's
baseplate and stanchion are not suitable grounding
points.
4. Attach the mast-mount collar to the mounting bracket using three
supplied M4 socket-head cap screws.
5. Insert the blue plastic sleeve into the mast-mount collar.
6. Place the FB250 antenna assembly onto the stanchion inside the 19" (48
cm) dome's baseplate.
7. Align the "FORE" reference on the FB250 with the "Forward" arrow on the
19" (48 cm) dome's baseplate.
8. Secure the FB250 antenna assembly in place using the three set screws
supplied in the kit.
