5. Using a utility knife, carefully strip the dielectric 0.2" (5 mm) back from the
end of the cable.

6. Taper the braid toward the center conductor.
7. Place the braid clamp onto the end of the cable. Be sure the shoulder of
the clamp rests against the edge of the cable jacket.
