Restricting the New Address

This mode enables you to restrict the entering of new destinations. When you set Restrict New
Addresses to 'On', the following are restricted:

Specifying a destination using
•
Registering new destinations with New Address on the Send Basic Features screen.
NOTE
The default setting is 'Off'.

Restricting the Send Function
(Additional Functions) ➞ [System Settings].
Press
If necessary, see the screen shot in step 1 of "Specifying the System Manager Settings," on
p. 6-2.
If the System Manager ID and System Password have been set, enter the System Manager ID
and System Password using
Press [▼] or [▲] until [Restrict the Send Function] appears ➞ press
[Restrict the Send Function].
Select [Restrict New Addresses]
- (numeric keys).
(numeric keys) ➞ press
- (Log In/Out).
