Measure the free length of the inner and outer
valve springs.
SERVICE LIMITS: IN/EX: 3 1.8 mm (1.25 in)
Replace the springs if they are shorter than the
service limits.
VALVE
Inspect each valve for bending, burning or abnor-
mal stem wear.
Check valve movement in the guide.
Measure and record each valve stem 0.0.
SERVICE LIMIT: IN/EX: 4.92 mm (0. 194 in)
