MAINTENANCE
Use a soft brush to remove carbon deposits from
the screen mesh, being caref ul not to damage
it.
The spark arrester must be free of breaks and holes.
Replace
if
necessary.
Install the spark arrester with a new gasket into the
muffler.
Tighten the three bolts securely.
NUTS,BOlTS,FASTENERS
Check that all chassis nuts and bolts are tightened
to their correct torque values (page ,- 10).
Check that all safety clips, cramps and cable stays
are in place and properly secured.
WHEELS/TIRES
Tire pressure
RECOMMENDED TIRE PRESSURE AND TIRE

should be checked
when the tires are

Check the front and rea r wheels for trueness (ref er
to secti on 12 and 13).
Measure the tread depth at the cente r of the t ires.
Replace the tires when the tread depth reaches the
following limits.
