CLUTCH/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Remove the four damper springs.
Remove the four screws and plain washers.

Remove the drive plate assembly and clutch DRIVE "LA

springs. ASSEMBLY
Remove the clutch weight stopper ring. CLUTCH WEIGHT/CENTER RING
Remove the clutch weight/center ring.
INSPECTION
BEARING
Clutch lifter bearing
Turn the inner face of the lifter bearing with your
finger.
The bearing should turn smoothly and freely
w ithout excessive play.
Also check that the bearing fits tightly in the clutch
outer cover.
If necessary replace the bearing.
