Forward Bilge Pump - Your 24 Walk is equipped with a forward bilge pump. This 500-gph pump is
located in the forward bilge and is accessible via the round deck hatch that is installed on the aft
wall of the cabin. The automatic float switch is mounted in close proximity to the pump. Just like
the aft bilge pump, the forward bilge pump is wired automatic to the starboard battery and has a
manual override located at the switch panel on the console. This pump operates in the same
manner as the aft bilge pump. Please refer to the instructions above for switch #2.

Baitwell Pump – This switch operates the baitwell and washdown systems. The baitwell aerator
head and the washdown fitting both have a small lever that must be in the open position before
operating the pump.
instructions.
The baitwell pump is located on the port side of the bilge and is connected to a seacock (ball
valve). For the baitwell pump to operate properly you need to make sure the seacock is in the
open position. The seacock is wide open when the yellow seacock lever is vertical. When the
yellow seacock lever is horizontal, the seacock is closed.
The underside of the seacock thru hull is equipped with a scoop to allow the water to be picked up
even when the boat is on plane. When the boat is not in the water or the baitwell pump is not
going to be used for an extended period of time, the seacock valve should be in the closed
position.
To activate the pump, depress the switch to the up or forward position. To turn the pump off after
the baitwell tub is full, depress the switch to the down or aft position.
10
Washdown Pump – To activate the washdown pump, depress the switch to the up or forward
position. The washdown pump draws its water from the same seacock that the baitwell pump
draws its water. To turn the pump off, depress the switch in the down position. Keep the
washdown switch in the off position if the pump is not going to be used soon.
11
Accessory - This 5 amp switch can be used for an additional dealer installed accessory. Please
check the amp rating of any new component and/or additional accessory before installation.
12
Fish Box - This switch operates the fish box macerator pump that allows you to drain the water
and debris from the fish boxes. The macerator pump is mounted in the bilge, on top of the
starboard stringer.
To activate the pump, depress the fish box switch to the up or forward position. This action will
drain the fish boxes of water and/or debris, grind up any debris and then discharge the water
and/or debris overboard. When not in use, the switch should be left in the off or down position.
13
Baitwell Light - To activate the baitwell light, depress the switch to the up or forward position. This
will activate the LED (light emitting diode) light inside your baitwell tub. It is a soft white light that
will keep your bait moving and lively. It will also help you locate your bait on those early morning
or late night fishing trips. To turn the light off, simply depress the switch to the down or aft
position.
